We have heard the learned counsel for the parties. It appears that the respondents are not denying that the land is to be acquired. According to the respondents, the same is to be by private negotiations. The private negotiation is in process and as per the communication of the respondent to its advocate dt. 11.09.2019, the petitioner is ready for the valuation made by the Collector in a recently declared award.

Be that as it may, the parties may go for private negotiation. We are not stalling the said process.

If the acquisition by private negotiation is not fructified within four months from today, then respondents shall initiate the Gajanan
2 2992.2019WP..doc process for acquisition under The Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act') within a period of three months thereafter and shall conclude it within the time stipulated under the Act.
