The applicant has prayed for bail after conviction. The applicant was convicted for the offences punishable under sections 506, 452 of the Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for two years respectively. He ie also directed to pay fine of Rs.5000/- on each count, in default, to suffer simple imprisonment for one month each. The appellant was on bail during the trial. Even after the conviction he was ordered to be released on bail for a period of one month. It will take some for hearing of the appeal. Therefore, no purpose would be served by keeping the applicant behind the bar. Hence, I pass following order :-

O R D E R

(i) The applicant is ordered to be released on bail in connection with aforesaid crime on executing PR & SB in the sum of Rs.15000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with one or more sureties in like amount, with directions to attend hearing of the appeal regularly.

ii) The sentence is suspended till the appeal is over.

iii) The criminal application is disposed of.
