1] The grievance of the petitioners is that, their salary is not being paid.

2] Learned counsel appearing for the Zilla Parishad and the Education Officer submits that, the entitlement of the petitioners to receive the salary is not disputed, however, because of the nonavailability of the funds, the salary is not paid. Proposal is already given to the Secretary, School Education & Sports Department, Maharashtra State, from time to

time and last communication was made on 10.01.2018 by the Dy. Director of Education [Primary].

3] It appears that, in case of some of the petitioners, the salary is not being paid since 2014.

4] The State Government is expected to act promptly in this regard and take decision in respect of the proposal given by the Dy.Director of Education [Primary] for release of payment of salary to the employees like the petitioners.

5] We expect the steps to be taken by the Secretary, School Education and Sports Department, Maharashtra State, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from today.

6] With these directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

7] Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondent no.1-State assures this Court that, copy of this order

will be sent to respondent no.1 and State Officials by fastest mode of communication so as to reach them on or before 25th December, 2018, through the office of Government Pleader.

8] Parties to act upon authenticated copy of this order.
