The petitioner seeks to challenge the order dated 05/06/2018 passed by the Additional Divisional Commissioner u/s 257 of the M.L.R.Code.

The petitioner has a statutory remedy in the form of a second revision under Section 257 before the State in view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the matter of Gurudassing Nawoosing Panjwani Vs. The State of Maharashtra and others [2016(6) ALL MR 468 = (2016) 2 SCC 213].

Considering the above, this petition is disposed of. If the petitioner prefers the second revision within 4 (four) weeks from today, the time spent by the petitioner in this Court from khs/SEPT.2018/10077-d

14/08/2018 shall be considered as a ground for condonation of delay. Needless to state, the petitioner can also file an application for interim relief and the same would be considered by the Revisional Authority on its own merits.
