The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that initially the father of the petitioner had given application for allotment of land under the rehabilitation scheme. The father of the petitioner had given application even in the year 2003, no cognizance is taken. The father of the petitioner is dead.

The petitioner shall bring all these facts to the notice of the Collector / competent authority by filing application. The competent authority

2 wp 9700.19 shall on receipt of comprehensive application from the petitioner and also considering the earlier applications, if pending, filed by the father of the petitioner, take decision upon the application of the petitioner on its own merits, expeditiously and preferably within a period of nine (09) months from the date of application.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
