The petitioner whose proposal is pending with the respondent - scrutiny committee since 2017, has woken up from slumber after having scored well at NEET-UG-2023 wherein the last date for uploading the document is 9 August 2023, is coming before us seeking a mandamus against the committee for decision of the proposal.

Learned AGP submits that even the vigilance enquiry is to be made.

We are not inclined to issue any direction to the committee but would certainly request it to make an endeavour to decide the petitioner's proposal by 7 August 2023.
