Mr. Nagargoje, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that initially the petitioner applied for appointment on compassionate ground on 9th March, 2016, the same was rejected on the ground that the petitioner had not completed 18 years of age. Upon completion of 18 years of age, the petitioner again filed application on 25.07.2017 seeking appointment on compassionate ground in place of his father, who died while in service in the year 2011, no decision has been taken upon it as yet. 2.

Mr.Chaudhari, the learned counsel for the respondent-institution submits that the mother of the petitioner had applied seeking appointment on

10618.21WP.odt compassionate ground. Her application was rejected as no vacancy existed. Thereafter, again the petitioner applied and his application was also rejected on the ground that he was not qualified as he was not major. The learned counsel submits that now again the petitioner has filed the application.

It is for the authorities to take decision upon the application. It is not disputed that no decision has been taken on the application dated 25.07.2017 made by the petitioner seeking appointment on compassionate ground. In case the application filed by the petitioner dated 25.07.2017 (page 51) is pending with respondent nos.7 and 8, then respondent nos.7 and 8 shall take decision upon it on its own merits and policy, preferably within four months.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
