Petitioners have filed proposals for validation of their caste claims on 27-03-2024. Having appeared for NEET-UG-2024, they are anxious to get the early decision.

It is being pointed out that petitioners' cousin - Abhishek and Dhananjay have been granted certificate of validity by the order dated 17-12-2020 passed by this Court in writ petition no. 10491 of 2019.

Learned advocate also submits that the petitioners are ready to adopt the vigilance report and its reply in the matter of their cousin and the application has already been submitted to the committee.

We dispose of the writ petition by requesting the committee to expedite and decide the petitioners' proposals by considering the afore-mentioned aspect and the request of the petitioners to adopt the reply filed by their cousin in the vigilance report as expeditiously as possible and in any case within two (2) weeks. 5.

Petitioners shall appear before the committee on 16 August 2024.
