Learned Advocate for the applicant's request to extend the time to deposit the cost of Rs. 2,000/-, which he failed to deposit within the stipulated time.

Considering the nature of the matter, I deem it appropriate to grant a further one week's time to deposit the costs as per the said order, subject to payment of additional costs of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees one thousand) to be deposited in the High Court Bar Association Library within one week.

Needless to clarify, clause 4 of the said order needs to be modified, as it is made clear that applicants /claimants shall not be entitled to claim any interest till the registration of the appeal, rather than for the aforesaid delay period, as the applicants failed to comply with the order in time.
