Petitioner is in receipt of caste certificate issued by the competent authority certifying that she belongs to "Muslim Tadvi" caste. The caste certificate issued to the petitioner is referred to respondent no. 2 - committee for verification and, the proposal is stated to be pending. It is the contention of petitioner that the employer is insisting for production of validation certificate and, in the event of failure of petitioner to submit validation certificate, she is threatened of adverse action.

In the circumstances, this petition can be disposed of by directing respondent no. 2 - committee to take decision on the caste certificate validation proposal of petitioner pending with the

{2} wp9916.17.odt committee, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from today and, it is accordingly directed. Petitioner undertakes to co-operate the scrutiny committee in expeditious disposal of validation proposal. In the meanwhile, respondent-employer shall not take any adverse action against petitioner and the subsequent steps those would be taken would depend upon the outcome of the decision in respect of validation proposal of petitioner pending with the scrutiny committee. 4.

With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
