A notice has been issued to the Petitioner u/s 39(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act dated 06.06.2023. The Petitioner has asked for certain documents vide her communication dated 30.06.2023, addressed to the Block Development Officer, Panchayat Samiti, Tuljapur. The grievance of the Petitioner is that the documents are not supplied. However, a detailed reply has been submitted on 20.07.2023.

We find that there is an independent procedure prescribed khs/Sep.2024/9374

- 2 - u/s 39 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act. The grievance of the Petitioner can be voiced before the concerned authority. The entire procedure engrafted therein, is to deal with the grievance of the complainant, as well as the Petitioner/Sarpanch. 3.

In the above fact situation, we do not deem it appropriate to exercise our Writ jurisdiction in such matter. Let the procedure be completed in accordance with the provisions of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act.
