Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that notice has been given for payment of rental compensation. In fact, the petitioners are required to file an application before the competent authority for grant of rental compensation, instead of issuing legal notice.

The petitioner may file an application for rental compensation. If, such an application is filed, then, respondent no.3 may take decision upon the application that may be filed by the petitioner for grant of rental compensation, on its own merits and in accordance within law, preferably within nine aaa/-
