The petitioners alleges breach of order dated 23rd July, 2019 in Writ Petition No. 14274 of 2018. By the said order, this Court had directed the respondent - State to notify the lapsing of reservation of the writ land and further held that the petitioner is entitled to use the writ land as the use of adjacent land.

It is stated that the Corporation had sent a proposal for the notification of the land on 05th December, 2019. The petitioner has, under the Right to Information Act, sought copy of letter dated 17th May, 2021 1 / 2

959-CP-623-22.odt which reveals that the respondent - State had received the proposal and that the same was awaiting final approval. Copy of the same is placed on record. Till date the respondent - State has not complied with the order. 3.

Learned A.G.P. states that the lapsing of reservation of the writ land shall be notified within a period of four weeks. 4.

Said statement is accepted. In light of the said statement, contempt petition stands disposed of.
