This is an application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The applicant has been arrested in connection with Crime No.0111/2022, registered at Chaklamba Police Station, District Beed, for the offences punishable under Sections 304-B, 306, 498-A, 323, 504 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Heard. Perused the First Information Report (FIR) and related papers.

The FIR has been lodged by the father of the deceased on 13.07.2022, alleging therein the applicant and his family members to have ill-treated his daughter and compelled her to commit suicide. 4.

The learned APP would submit that the deceased had to end her life within a short span of her marriage. The applicant is the husband of the deceased. He, therefore, urged for rejection of the application.

The applicant is in jail for about two and half months. There is no suicide note. The deceased died of drowning in a well. The nature of evidence is oral one. In the circumstances, pretrial detention of the applicant appears to be unwarranted. The Court is therefore inclined to grant the applicant, bail. Hence, following order:

O R D E R

(i) The Bail Application is allowed.

(ii)The applicant be released on bail in connection with Crime No.0111/2022, registered at Chaklamba Police Station, District Beed, for the offences punishable under Sections 304-B, 306, 498-A, 323, 504 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, on his executing P. R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with surety bond of the like amount.
