It appears that, the Contempt Petition would not be maintainable. The draft Notification is already issued on 02.12.2021 inviting objections. We had observed in paragraph no.6 of the order dated 31.10.2018 in Writ Petition No.7811/2016 that the procedure will have to be followed for converting Nagar Panchayat, Shirdi into Municipal Council and that the respondents shall adhere to the procedure laid down therein and shall take steps accordingly. We had not prescribed any time limit for the same.

As the draft Notification is already published inviting objections, 30 days period has

The Contempt Petition is disposed of. No costs.
