The petitioner is challenging the order of respondent no.-2 Scrutiny Committee refusing to validate her 'Koli Mahadev' Scheduled Tribe certificate.

It transpires during the course of hearing that the petitioner's father Bhanudas was issued with certificate of validity, however, by undertaking re scrutiny his validity was recalled. He has challenged that decision in Writ Petition No. 6668 of 2023. By order dated 20/06/2023 operation of the judgment and order recalling his validity has been stayed. issued with a certificate of validity subject to the final outcome of the decision in respect of the matters which it had reopened, obviously of their father Bhanudas.

In view of above, the impugned order is liable to be quashed and set aside and even the petitioner deserves to be issued with a certificate of validity which shall be co-terminus with the validity of her father Bhanudas.

The writ petition is partly allowed. The Committee shall immediately issue certificate of validity to the petitioner of 'Koli Mahadev' Scheduled Tribe which shall be co-terminus with the Bhanudas's validity.
