The petitioners submit that an application is filed for rental compensation before respondent no.2. It appears that the petitioners have not filed application before respondent no.2 for grant of rental compensation. 2.

The petitioners may file application before respondent no.2 for grant of rental compensation. If such application is filed then, respondent No.2 shall take decision upon it on its own merits, after hearing all the parties concerned including acquiring body and shall decide it preferably within nine months thereafter. 3.

Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
