This petition is filed for a limited direction to the Respondent No.2/Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner as belonging to Koli Mahadev Scheduled Tribe.

There is urgency in the matter as the Petitioner is a student who intends to participate in the counseling rounds in pursuance of the NEET-2025 examination for admission to health science courses. It is brought to our notice that the Respondent No.2/Scrutiny Committee for whom the learned AGP appears, has heard the matter and now order is reserved.

Since the learned AGP can appear on behalf of the contesting Respondent Nos.1 & 2, we are inclined to dispose of this petition by giving appropriate direction.

The Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Respondent No.2/Scrutiny Committee to pass final order on the tribe claim of the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case within three weeks from today.
