The missing girl was produced before this Court at 2.30 p.m. in chamber. We have made inquiry with her as well as the police have taken her statement. She informed that she was in love with a boy from her village and she eloped with him on 08.08.2021. She got the knowledge that her mother has filed missing report with the police and after staying at various places she says that on 09.07.2022 she has performed marriage with that boy in Arya Samaj Vivah Sanstha, Nashirabad, Tq. & Dist. Jalgaon, after became 18 years

Cri.WP_1087_2021 and 11⁄2 months old. She has stated that her mother was not approving the said boy as the bridegroom for the girl and, therefore, she waited for 18 years to complete and then got married. The photo copy of the marriage certificate has been produced.

When we asked girl about her wish, then, she told that she would like to go back to her matrimonial home and not with the petitioner - mother. The Investigating Officer was also present and it was told that the said boy has been arrested. That fact was made known to the girl; yet, she was firm in saying that she would go back to her matrimonial home, in which she would live with her parents-in-law and brother-in-law. Since the girl is now major, we will have to honour her wish. Even the petitioner was made aware about the wish of the girl. Under such circumstance, when the girl has become major and got married and now wants to stay with her in-laws, this proceedings stands disposed of.
