PER COURT :

1) The learned counsel for the respondents states that it is not a case of ban on the increment but by way of minor penalty two increments were stopped vide order dated 29.03.1993. The petitioner had already retired on attaining the age of superannuation. According to the learned counsel for petitioner the said order is passed without notice to the petitioner. 2) The order impugned is passed 21 years back. It will not be possible to entertain the grievance of the petitioner after a long slumber of 21 years.

2 WP8308.14 3) Be that as it may if the petitioner has any other remedy, the petitioner is at liberty to avail the same as per law. If any other remedy is availed the respondents are at liberty to take the defences as are permissible in law. Writ Petition accordingly disposed of. No costs.
