Earlier similar application preferred by the applicant, being Criminal Application No. 263 of 2016, was dismissed as withdrawn vide order dated 3rd February 2016.

The learned Counsel for the applicant, therefore, made a limited prayer of expediting the trial.

It is reported that the case has already been committed to the Court of Sessions and is pending the Addl. Sessions Judge, Sangamner, vide Sessions Case No. 64 of 2015. The applicant / accused is reported to be behind the bar from 17th June 2015. The Sessions Case can be disposed of expeditiously considering the nature of offence. 4.

Hence, the trial Court is requested to expedite hearing of the trial in Sessions Case No. 64 of 2015.

The Application is disposed of accordingly.
