The petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing the concerned competent authority to decide the petitioner's representation in respect of alteration of date of commencement of pension with effect from 01.07.2001 instead of 01.07.2002. 03.

The said representation shall be decided by the competent authority as expeditiously as possible and preferably within 08 (eight) weeks after giving reasonable opportunity to the petitioner of being heard in the matter. All contentions of the petitioner are kept open.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
