Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are merely claiming decision by respondent No.4-Special Land Acquisition Officer on their application requesting for payment rental compensation. The matter is pending with him since 17.05.2022.

The learned AGP submits that if the application is pending, it can be decided within a reasonable time.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent No.4Special Land Acquisition Officer to decide the petitioners' application received by his office on 17.05.2022, annexed to the petition at Exh.-C,

as early as possible and in any event, within 12 weeks from today, after giving opportunity of being heard to the petitioners. 5.

In case the petitioners'
