All these appeals are filed by the Executive Engineer, Upper Pravara Prakalpa Vibhag, Sangamner, challenging the awards passed under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act by the respective Reference Courts. Smt.Sangita Rohit Jagtap, Executive Engineer, is present before the Panel.

After filing the appeals, the acquiring body / the State has deposited the entire amount as per the award. Now, in view of the policy adopted by the State Government vide Government resolution dated 3rd of November, 2016, read with corrigendum dated 23rd February, 2017, the appellant has now decided not to pursue the appeals further. It is submitted that the market rate as has been determined in all these matters is less than four times of the ready reckoner rates prevailing at the relevant time and, as such, the acquiring body / State have decided not to contest the appeals further.

In view of the submission so made, all these appeals stand disposed of. The awards impugned in these appeals stand confirmed. The amount deposited by the acquiring body / State in these matters in this Court be transmitted to the respective Reference Courts so as to facilitate withdrawal of the said amount by the respective claimants. 4.
The appellant is entitled for refund of the Court fees in accordance with law.
