Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent-State.

The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 246/2024 dated 25.4.2024 registered at Gangakhed Police Station, District Parbhani, for the offences punishable under sections 306, 354 (1)(iii), 385, 504 r/w. 34 of I.P.C.

On perusal of the F.I.R., it appears that the allegation against the applicant is that he forwarded obscene video of the daughter of the complainant to accused Nos. 1 and 2 and on the basis of the same, the accused No. 1 and 2 have demanded money from the complainant. On the second time during night at 9.30 p.m. accused Nos. 1 and 2 came to the house of the complainant and again demanded money from the complainant by showing the said video. At that time daughter of the complainant was present and became aware of the video and demand for money, due to which she committed suicide.

Considering the nature of allegations against the applicant, I hold

ABA 1399/24 that custodial interrogation of the applicant is necessary in this crime and the applicant is not entitled for anticipatory bail. 5.

In view of the above, the application is rejected. The learned counsel prays for extention of interim protection granted by this Court on 21.8.2024. The said request is also rejected. 6.

It is also clarified that the observations made in this order are limited to the disposal of the present anticipatory bail application and the trial Court shall proceed further in the matter without being influenced by the observations made hereinabove.

The application stands disposed of.
