The learned AGP submits that in case the said application is pending, the authority would decide the same in accordance with law.

In case the application filed by the petitioners seeking rental compensation (Exh.G) is pending with the Land Acquisition Officer, then the Land Acquisition Officer shall decide the same on its own merits in accordance with law and policy after hearing all the parties concerned, within 8 months.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
