These are applications for condonation of delay by the State and its authority in filing appeals under section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act for challenging judgment and award of the Reference Court in enhancing the compensation.

Heard learned AGP appearing for applicant. He submits that delay is occasioned because conscious decision was required to be taken at various levels and the procedure consumed some time. Mr. C.K. Shinde, learned Counsel appearing for non-applicants/original claimants submits that he has no objection for condonation of delay but applicants be directed to deposit amount under Award before this Court.
