The learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners have given applications / representations to the Chief Executive Officer of the Municipal Council, Jalna seeking benefit of Lad-Page Committee Report and appointment on heirship basis. The said applications / representations are pending for more than three years, no decision has been taken. 2.

In case, the Petitioners have filed applications / representations with Respondent No.2 and the same are pending then, Respondent No.2 may take decision upon the said applications / representations on it's own merits, in accordance with law and policy, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from the date of communication of the present order.

The Writ Petitions accordingly stand disposed of. No costs.
