By this application under section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the applicants seek their release on bail, in connection with C.R. No.I-485 of 2015, registered with Mukundwadi police station, Aurangabad, for offence punishable under section 489 (a), (b), (c), (d), (e) read with sec. 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Upon perusal of the investigation papers, it is noticed that the applicants were arrested pursuant to statement made by one of the accused, namely, Shaikh Amir, that he has circulated fake currency through the present applicants.

During the investigation and custodial interrogation, nothing was recoverred from the present applicants. The applicants are behind bars since 1st August, 2015.

There is no criminal history as against the present applicants, particularly in relation to the same nature of offence as is alleged in the first information report.

In view thereof, in my opinion, it will be appropriate to order release of the applicants on bail. I, therefore, pass following order :- The applicants be released on bail, in connection with C.R. No.I-485 of 2015, registered with Mukundwadi police station, Aurangabad, for offence punishable under section 489 (a), (b), (c), (d), (e) read with sec. 34 of the Indian Penal Code, on each of them furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs. 10,000/- with one surety in the like amount. The applicants shall keep themselves away from the jurisdiction of the concerned police station till filing of the charge-sheet.
