The Petitioner was terminated on 25.04.2017. An application dated 15.09.2017 was filed before the Deputy Chief Executive Officer. By communication dated 06.11.2017, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer has directed the Block Development Officer to decide the said application by treating it as an appeal under Section 61(1) of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act. An inquiry was also conducted by the Extension Officer and the report has been submitted.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed

*2* 949ywp12295o23 off by directing Respondent No.4/BDO to follow the due procedure laid down in law and decide the application/ appeal as was directed by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer within 150 days. The Block Development Officer shall follow the due procedure laid down in law and shall grant reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the stakeholders.
