The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of his request / communication dated 20 September 2023, the respondent no. 3 is still to consider grant of notional increment earned by him in the last year before superannuation. 2.

The writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no. 3 to take appropriate decision on the petitioner's application annexure 'D' dated 20 September 2023 on its own merits, if it has not already been taken, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of three weeks.
