The petitioner is aggrieved by the appointment of respondent no.5 as In-charge Deputy Engineer, Zilla Parishad, Vasmat till the appointment of regular Deputy Engineer.

We are of the view that the petitioner does not have any statutory or legal right to contend that he should be appointed in place of respondent no.5. We are, therefore, not inclined to interfere with the administrative decision taken by the respondents.

The Writ Petition, therefore, stands rejected.
