The present application is filed for quashing the complaint bearing FIR No.39/2014 and RCC No.67/2014 for offence punishable U/ss. 498-A, 323, 506 read with Section 34 of the I.P.C. 3.
Mr.Thigle, learned counsel appears for the applicants and Mr.Deshmukh, learned counsel appears for Respondent No.2. The learned counsel submit that parties have decided to amicably settle the dispute. The applicant No.1 and Respondents also filed proceedings U/s 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, bearing HMP No.68/2014. The Respondent No.2 does not want to proceed
further with the present complaint. The applicant No.1 and Respondent No.2 are present before this Court. They admit the contents of the affidavit. They are identified by their respective counsel.

Though offence punishable U/s 498-A of the I.P.C is not compoundable. Considering the fact that the parties have decided to amicably resolve their dispute and further that cordial relations would subsist between them and there need not be any disharmony, we accept the said settlement.

In light of the above, RCC No.67/2014 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Selu for offence punishable U/s 498-A, 323, 506 read with Section 34 of the I.P.C is quashed and set aside.

The Criminal Application is disposed of.
