Mr. Ashtekar, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, this Court under order dated 07.01.2016 had recorded the undertaking of the respondents to take decision upon petitioner's representation within six months. The representation is not yet decided.

The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent No. 3 submits that, the hearing is being taken on priority basis immediately after the order is passed. The

2 cp 567.16 committee constituted by the Tahsildar has submitted a report to the Tahsildar on 04th April, 2016. Thereafter, after receipt of the report from the Tahsildar, the Collector Latur has taken the matter for hearing in respect of application of the petitioner and the hearing is in progress in the enquiry before the Collector. All the concerned licensees are to be called, which are about 278 in number and said exercise will require some time and further six months time is sought. It is also stated that, during the interregnum the Collector, Latur was busy in handling the drought situation.

Considering the explanation given in the affidavit filed by the Collector, Latur, said explanation is accepted and six (06) months time as requested in the said affidavit is granted. The contempt petition according is disposed of. No costs. [ K. L. WADANE, J. ] [ S. V. GANGAPURWALA, J. ] bsb/Nov. 16
