1.

Learned counsel appearing for the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Ahmednagar, on instructions, informs this Court that pursuant to statement made before this Court, necessary action will be taken against the erring employees by conducting the departmental inquiry, as expeditiously as possible, however, within SIX MONTHS from today.

Learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions of the District Collector, Ahmednagar, informs this Court that necessary action/ steps will be taken within FOUR MONTHS. 3.

We grant SIX MONTHS time to the Respondents to comply the statements made by them in the respective affidavits filed on behalf of

them.

Needless to observe that it would be open for the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Ahmednagar and also to the District Collector, Ahmednagar to register the First Information Report, if they feel it appropriate keeping in view the inquiry conducted by them.

5.

In that view of the matter, the purpose of filing this Public Interest Litigation is served. Hence the Public Interest Litigation stands disposed of.
