Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the application of petitioner for grant of financial aid as an artist is not yet decided. The application was given on 28-02-2011. Except the petitioner, all other applicants of the said application have been granted financial aid. The case of the petitioner is not considered nor any communication is made.

It appears that the Committee is competent to take decision. The Committee has been constituted as per Government Resolution dated 01st June 2004 to take decision upon it. In case, the claim of the petitioner is still pending with the Committee as per application dated 28-02-2011 (Exhibit "C" at page 26 along with petition), then the said Committee shall take decision, on its own merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from the date of this order. 03.

With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
