THE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA ...
Advocate for Petitioners : Mr. I. D. Maniyar Advocate for Respondent : Mr. G. O. Wattamwar ...
CORAM : S. G. MEHARE, J.
DATE : 20-09-2024 PER COURT :- 1.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. 2.
The learned counsel made a statement that the petitioners have moved an application before the trial Court to direct the Superintendent of Police, Beed, to produce the statements of the complainant, which were not the part of the chargesheet. However, after examining the impugned order, it does not reflect that any application or prayer as such was made. 3.
The impugned order reflects that the petitioners had sought time to produce the document. However, incorrect and irresponsible arguments were advanced that the learned trial Court refused to direct the Superintendent of Police, Beed, to produce the statement of the complainant.
