Mr. K.M. Suryawanshi submits that he has instructions to appear on behalf of respondent no. 2.

Petitioner - institution is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of the positive recommendation by the respondent no. 2 - University in the light of section 109(4) of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2015, ('Act'), it has not been communicated anything either grant or refusal of the permission, although a general government resolution dated 15-07-2024 has been issued in respect of the other institutes for the academic year 2024-25.

On the last date, we had requested learned AGP to solicit instructions as to what has happened about the petitioner's proposal

2 WP / 8944 / 2024 for starting faculty of B.Sc. from the academic year 2024-25. He submits that he is still to get the instructions. 4.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing respondents no. 1 and 3 to communicate to the petitioner if any decision has been taken by the state government pursuant to the recommendation, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within one week. 5.
