DATE :
19th September, 2016 ORDER:
1.
Learned AGP states that with regard to the recruitment process i.e. the subject matter of the present petition, enquiry was conducted by the State and it is found that there is no substance in the complaint made by the complainant and the Agricultural Universities are directed to conduct selection process and fill in the posts.
2.
This Court, on 7th April, 2016, has passed the following order:
"Petitioners have apprehension that respondents are delaying the matter of making reference to another committee. It is contended that by the 1/2
28.odt time the decision is taken the petitioners would be rendered age barred and will not be offered employment. It is clarified that in the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, such defence that petitioners have become age barred and are not entitled to be accommodated would not be available for respondents in the event petitioners succeed in the instant petition."
3.
In view of the said order, this court had already directed that the defence that the petitioners have become age barred and are not entitled to be accommodated would not be available for the respondents. As now the State Government has directed to start the process for appointment, the University is expected to proceed further with the selection process which has been undertaken, keeping in mind the order dated 7th April, 2016 as quoted above.
4.
Writ petitions are accordingly disposed of. No costs.
