Civil Application No.3285/2020 is allowed in terms of prayer clause (B). The applicant is permitted to intervene in the matter.
Contempt Petition No.807/2019 :: 2 ::

Learned counsel for the petitioners informs that, in spite of the award to have been declared, the concerned Special Land Acquisition Officer is neither disbursing the amount nor depositing it with the competent authority. It is also informed that some objection has been raised.

The Special Land Acquisition Officer shall comply with the statutory mandate as regards disbursal of the amount within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, it is an award, passed belatedly. The petitioners are, therefore, entitled for component of interest/ statutory benefits. He proposes to move for availment of those benefits. He may avail remedy as is available in law.

The contempt petition stands disposed of.
