Mr. Chandole, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that, land of the petitioner is acquired, however, same is not used for the purpose for which it is acquired and it is lying vacant. The petitioner has made representations on 22.11.2004 and 21.08.2014, however, same are not decided. The petitioner would restrict the present petition to the extent of prayer clause "B". 2.

We have heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader also. The learned A. G. P. states that, the representations as are referred by the petitioner are not found in the office and the alleged reference is also not found in the file of the S.L.A.O.

Mr. Chandole, the learned counsel submits that, he would restrict the present petition to the extent of return of the land. In that case, the petitioner may make representation to the authorities concerned.

In case such an application/representation is made, the authority shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of nine (09) months from the date of receipt of the representation. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
