The learned counsel submits that the University on 6th December, 2010 has submitted the proposal to the State Government for creation of three supernumerary posts. No decision has been taken on it as yet. The petitioners are the beneficiaries of the said proposal.

The learned AGP accepts notice for respondent Nos.1, 2 and 3. In case, the proposal is submitted by the University for creating supernumerary posts (page 35) and the same is pending with respondent No.1, then respondent No.1 shall take decision upon it on its own merits in accordance with law, preferably within nine months. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
