Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. By consent of both the parties, application is taken up for final hearing. Heard both the sides.

This proceeding is filed for quashing the First Information Report bearing Crime No.148/2018, registered with Phulambri Police Station for the offence punishable under Section 328 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Applicant No.1 is the husband of respondent No.2 and applicant No.2 is mother of applicant No.1. The first informant i.e. respondent No.2 filed the complaint that applicant No.1-husband forcibly administered the poison to her, and her father took her for treatment to the hospital.

Learned counsel for the applicants submitted that both the parties have settled the dispute. Reply affidavit is taken on record and she has mentioned that she does not want to proceed against her husband and her mother-in-law. She has resumed cohabitation. In view of the above circumstances, application is allowed in terms of prayer clause "B".
