The petitioner was the Chairman of the Committee. The term of the Committee has expired. The extension has not been granted after 22-04-2021 to the Committee. The Administrative Board is appointed.

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner. 3.

The petitioner is relying upon the Government Order dated 22-04-2021, more particularly para no.2 of the said order to contend that the policy decision could not have been undertaken by the Administrative Board.

The order dated 22-04-2021 would apply to those Committees, which have been granted extension on account of non-holding the election. In the present case, it is not the Committee that has been granted extension in power, but it is the Administrative Board appointed as per the order dated 12-05-2021.

In light of the above, no relief is granted. Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
