DATE : JANUARY 28, 2021 PER COURT :- This application has been moved by the applicants (respondents in Writ Petition) for modification of the order dated 05.02.2020. By the said order, applicant no.1 herein was directed to deposit/pay to respondent no.1 herein, a sum of Rs.15,000/- per month from 01.02.2020 for a period of 12 months therefrom.

Learned counsel for the applicants submits that due to pandemic, applicant no.1 could not deposit the amount. He

1-CA-1204-2021 simply seeks extension of time for a period of further twelve months commencing from March, 2021 onward. Applicant no.1 has shown his bona fides to pay the amount directly to respondent no.1 herein, towards maintenance.

Due to pandemic, the applicant could not comply the order passed in Writ Petition. As has been urged, it is, therefore, necessary to grant extension of time for such payment to be commenced from March, 2021.

Applicant no.1 (respondent no.1 in Writ Petition) shall pay an amount of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) per month to respondent no.1 (petitioner no.1 in Writ Petition) for the twelve calendar months with effect from March, 2021. The amount shall be deposited in the trial Court on or before 10th day of every calendar month.

Clause 4(a) of the order dated 05.02.2020 passed in Writ Petition No.1897 of 2020 stands modified accordingly. Civil Application is disposed of.
