The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the Tahsildar does not have jurisdiction to pass the impugned order in this particular case.

The petitioner may raise all these grievances before the appropriate authority and this court would not entertain the same. However, this court would entertain the limited prayer as regards the release of the vehicle bearing no. MH39-C-0192. The petitioner is permitted to deposit

2 wp 10258.2023 50% of the impugned notice amount. The vehicle be released, on such terms and conditions as are usually imposed. All contentions of the parties are left open.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
