The applicant is an accused in Crime No. 22/2016 registered at Basmatnagar (City) police station, Dist. Hingoli for the offences punishable U/ss 307,143,147,148,149 of the Indian Penal Code, by this application is praying for releasing him on bail.

Heard the learned counsel for the applicant/accused. The learned counsel by taking me through the charge sheet has argued that this is a case of one witness i.e. injured Sanket Nampalli. Considering the nature of the

2 Cr.Apln. 4632.2016 offences and the number of witnesses, the learned counsel submits that the trial can be expedited and can be concluded in time bound manner. With this, the learned counsel submitted that he does not press the present application. 3.

The request so made appears to be reasonable because according to the prosecution case the applicant had stabbed injured Sanket Nampalli near Mahadeo Jim, Basmath. Considering the fact that only few witnesses will have to be examined, during trial, the trial can be expedited. 4.

Therefore, the Criminal Application stands disposed of as withdrawn.

The learned Sessions Judge on whose file the Sessions Case arising out of Crime No. 22/2016 registered with Basmatnagar (City) Police Station, District Hingoli is pending is requested to decide the same within a period of 9 months from the date of communication of this order.
