The petitioner is challenging the ward formation and reservation allotted to ward No.2 of Sompuri Gram Panchayat. 2.

Mr. Gore, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that because of the lock down, the petitioner could not get the knowledge of the final ward formation and the reservation applied to it. The voters list is published in the month of December, 2020 and thereafter the petitioner got the knowledge.

We have heard Mr. Kadethankar, the learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.1 / State Election Commission and the learned AG.P. for Respondent Nos. 2 to 4.

The final notification of ward formation and the reservation was published on 27.10.2020. The election program was published on 15.12.2020. From 23.12.2020, the nominations are to be accepted. The petitioner did not assail the order of notification of ward formation and reservation within reasonable time. 5.

At this eleventh hour, the petition cannot be entertained. 6.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
