1] According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, caste claim of the petitioner is pending with the Committee since the year 2011.

2] Learned Additional G.P. appears for respondent nos.1 and 2 and submits that the same is pending for vigilance.

3] Ten years is too long a period for not deciding the matter by the Committee. Be that as it may, the Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of caste claim of the petitioner within six [6] months from the date of appearance of the petitioner.

1394.22WP 4] The petitioner shall appear before the Committee on 22nd February, 2022.

5] In case validation proceedings are pending, the employer may not take adverse action against the petitioner till the decision in the validation proceeding. The respondents may take further course of action depending upon the judgment that may be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceedings.

6] Writ Petition is disposed of. No cost.
