DATE : 22/09/2017 PER COURT :- Mr.Shirurkar, learned counsel submits that the petitioner has appeared for 4th semester B.E. (E. & TC) examination, however, his result is withheld on the ground that validity certificate is not yet obtained. The learned counsel submits that validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim is pending with respondent no.2 committee. 2] We have heard Mr.Bolkar, learned counsel for the University and learned AGP.

3] The respondent no.2 Committee shall decide validation

Sr.17 -2proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within one year. The petitioner shall cooperate in expeditious disposal of the said proceeding.

4] The respondents 3 and 4 shall not withhold the result of the petitioner's 4th Semester B.E. (E & TC) only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. After the result is declared and the the petitioner is otherwise eligible, then the admission to the further semester shall not be refused only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. Ofcourse, the Degree certificate shall not be issued without production of the validity certificate. Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
